In short: Loft sends nothing to me or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier. Everything Loft writes stays on your Mac.

Settings. Your choices (keyboard shortcut, countdown length, start at login and so on) live in the usual macOS preferences for the app.
A local diagnostic log at ~/Library/Logs/Loft.log. It holds:
These measurements are needed because macOS publishes no list of menu bar icons; Loft infers from window geometry. The log is never transmitted. You can read it and delete it at any time; Loft also shows the path in its “About Loft” window.
If you report a problem, you decide whether to attach an excerpt. Nothing is sent on its own.
Loft from the Mac App Store runs in the macOS sandbox and needs no system permission.
A purchase through the Mac App Store is handled by Apple; Apple gives me no personal details about buyers.
The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third-party servers — no fonts, no maps, no tracking pixels. The hosting provider keeps the usual server access logs.
